As a novice investor, my experience with RT-Investing has been far from satisfactory. Firstly, their platform is not very user-friendly and poses challenges for a beginner, leading to confusion and errors. Secondly, I expected regular updates and recommendations based on market trends, but the lack of so has proven to be a major drawback.
Their customer service has also left a lot to be desired. It was difficult to get through to them and even when I did, their responses were typically slow and unhelpful. I also found their fees to be quite high compared to other brokers, which doesn’t seem justified given the lacklustre service provided.
Additionally, they promote themselves as a company that is supportive of inexperienced investors, but I haven’t received any meaningful educational content or investing guidance from them. I was basically left to navigate the overwhelming world of investment alone, which was certainly not what I signed up for.
Lastly, the lack of transparency is another significant issue. It has been a struggle getting clear, detailed information on my investments and transactions. Such murkiness creates uncertainty, not what one would want when dealing with their own money.
In a nutshell, my initial journey into investing with RT-Investing has been quite disappointing due to the poor service, high fees, lack of user-friendliness and transparency.
